Responsible for the general maintenance, up keep and repair of all printing presses/slitters in Printing Dept.
Determines priorities, coordinates and implements with the Print Department Manager, cost reduction projects, maintenance and repairs of this equipment: maintains detailed documentation as required.
Determines priorities, coordinates and implements with the Print Dept Manager machine repair/ replacement requirements and preventative maintenance schedules: maintains detailed documentation as required.
Evaluates and recommends manufacturing processes for OEE of this equipment.
Develop trained and skilled staff in all areas of this responsibility.
Assist in developing trained and skilled operators with knowledge of the positive and negative effects that they can have on this equipment.
Personally implements or supervises that Machine Maintenance Functions of this equipment.
Develop and maintain a reliable source of external providers for Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Machining, etc. needs when required.
Develop and maintain suitable purchasing arrangements for commodities required for maintenance and repair of this equipment.
Receive price quotations and evaluate competitive products for desirability and use in areas of responsibility.
Communicate and drive ideas and a positive culture.
Actively seek to determine internal and external customer requirements in area of responsibility and whenever possible, exceed their needs.
Take ownership in area of responsibility for the business and improvements which will result in increased income and/ or reduces costs.
Requirement & Benefits
Educational Qualifications: Graduate/ITI/Diploma or a related field is preferred
Desired Experience: 4-5 years experience in a manufacturing company preferably in Digital Printing / Book Publishing and Printing & Packaging Industry
Salary: CTC 7.00 LPA + additional company benefits
